It has been said that the reason for going sailing is to give people something to talk about in the bar afterwards! This can, and does, happen throughout the year. Sometimes we like to go further and hold some social functions at the Club. We have a small sub-committee to organise these events, which can take the form of dancing, or quizzing, or games. They invariably involve a meal, and many camp at the Club so that they can enjoy the events to the full! The intention is to hold one social event per month during the season. Forthcoming events are listed below and in the Club Programme , details for each event will be published beforehand.
